AGES 13&UP INT/ADVCLASS DESCRIPTIONS:
CREATE DANCE ZENTIH - Currently our highest level of CREATE Company Collective, ZENITH members have one thing in common. They are completely dedicated to the art of dance as a whole and have dreams of using it in their future. ZENITH members are to audition and will be expected to hold our mission at the heart of their dance lives. Not only will these dancers be held accountable for choreography, conditioning and creating, they will also be given opportunities to develop production elements for semi annual shows, compete in Regional & National Competitions and will be given opportunities to student teach and choreograph for other classes. Classes will be inclusive of music, dance, and theatrical instruction. [REQUIREMENTS MON + TUES + WED] [RECOMMENDATIONS THURS + ONGOING PRIVATE LESSONS] ALLEGRO: BALLET III/IV- Leveling up at CREATE is fun vs. intimidating! Our Ballet III/IV students have typically completed learning the first two levels of Ballet Terminology. YES! Our Ballet program is designed to level up in each term as opposed to the whole style! Students are given a list of terminology in their CREATE Dance Journals and will be expected to "level up" through their teachers rating them in which level they can execute. At the end of each semester, whichever level is circled the most, that will be the level they will continue into for the following semester! ACRO IN CHOREOGRAPHY - It's time to TUMBLE! Our most focused dancers are invited to this acrobatics class, specifically to teach them how to execute tricks that can be used in choreography. A dedication of daily conditioning will be necessary to execute each tumbling element without injury and is taken very seriously. TO THE POINTE: PRE POINTE/ EN POINTE - "Going Up?!" Dedication goes a long way in ballet & now you've reached the top! Our "To The Pointe" class is intended for our Level V & Level VI Ballerinas who have showed dedication to terminology, conditioning, and to ballet as a whole. Class consists of both dancers preparing for pointe shoes and dancers who have already risen to the top! [REQUIREMENTS: BALLET III/ IV + TO THE POINTE] RHYTHM NATION: TAP - The joys of turning your feet into drums! Dancers will learn the rhythm they need to develop their musicality not just as tappers but as dancers in general. This class is high energy and fun! MONDAYS:
